Hand of Help is a mission society dedicated to mentoring young adults in prayer, service and community. Our outreach is to young adults (18 to 35) at colleges and parishes across the country. The work we do is inspired by Benedictine spirituality, spanning 1,500 years, in bringing encouragement and hope to those we touch today.

Our Spiritual Base

Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, dedicated on June 24, 1981, is graced by a fountain garden on the grounds of Holy Trinity Monastery.

Founded in 1974, Holy Trinity Monastery is a small Olivetan Benedictine community located in St. David, Arizona. It is composed of monks, sisters and lay oblates. There is a 1.3 mile bird sanctuary trail on the property that borders the San Pedro River. From the monastery grounds, you can veiw the beautiful Whetstone mountains on the western horizon. The motherhouse of Holy Trinity Monastery is in Monte Oliveto Maggiore near Siena.

Our Board

The leadership of Hand of Help is guided by a Governing Board together with the Executive Director. A quarterly report on both our finances and work, based on a previously approved budget, will be prepared by the administrative staff. The status report goes into the planning for the following year's budget.

Our Network

There is also a group of professionals in the areas of law, finance and organizational development whose consultation we rely upon for bringing Hand of Help into a long term model of mentoring ministry.
